In
January 2012, God gave the Richards’ a dream to start a “Hope House” for women.
The basic idea being that they will come and live in community, receive
counseling, practical life skills, and transformation of their minds. Since
then he has given more and more clarity as our hearts agree with his calling
and as our faith has increased. Here are a few specifics:
Vision:
Women will be freed from sex exploitation, they will encounter the love of God, and they will be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ (Romans 12, 2 Cor 4, Isaiah 61)
Mission:
The Hope House is a Christ-centered community and refuge for women desiring freedom from sex exploitation. We seek to meet members' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through a purposefully structured program, professional services, and vocational training that are based on Scripture and the knowledge that true healing and transformation is possible only through Jesus Christ. Not only will the lives of program participants be transformed, but they will become living testimonies empowered to lead others into the freedom found in Christ.
